ABOUT

Horizons: A Seokjin Zine is a fanzine created to celebrate Seokjin. Our overarching theme is the Earth, Stars, Sea, and everything in between. Sort of like Seokjin is our universe, which is cheesy, but the most fitting for Mr. Super Tuna himself. This zine will feature a collection of artworks and written pieces with Seokjin being the main focus. Contributors can choose to create a piece that loosely fits within the theme. This could be as specific as a written piece featuring astronaut Seokjin, or as broad as an art piece with the colors of the ocean as the focus. This zine will only allow people 18+ to apply to ensure adult content creators don't have to be in a place with children.

What is a zine?

A zine is a collection of art and written works published in a book format. The word "zine" comes from the word "magazine" and are often fan-made projects.

What is the theme for this zine?

As inspired by Abyss, Super Tuna, The Astronaut, and Moon, the theme of this zine is Stars, Earth, Sea!

What is the content rating of this zine?

Both zines will be rated teen.

Can old work be used for the zine?

No, all content for the zine must be made purposefully for the zine.

Will this zine be for profit or for charity?

The zine will be split 50-50 for charity and profit!

Why can't minors apply?

Due to the mods' own comfort, we have decided to have all contributors be 18 or older.

Do the mods have previous zine experience?

You can find all of the mods past experience in the Mods section!

Will moderators participate in the zine?

All mods will be given the option to participate if they would like to as thanks for their hard work. Although we understand that people may see this as a one less spot for contributors, doing so is a good way to show gratitude towards the people who helped put together the zine!

Will this zine be inviting guests?

Yes! There will be 4 total guests invited.

Will contributors be given a free copy of the zine?

All contributors will get the digital bundle or digital copy of the main zine. We are planning to use the profits earned to give bundles, but that will depend on how much profit we get.

Will merch artists need to produce the merch themselves?

No, the mods will handle getting the merch produced! This will also make it so if someone who has never done merch before wanted to apply for a merch artist spot, they still could!

Once the zine finishes, will I still have the rights to my work?

Yes! However, we do ask that until the zine is officially closed, and the mods have said it was okay, to please not share or post your piece anywhere. This includes, but is not limited to, Patreon exclusives, streaming, and applying to other zines with your piece for the zine.
